Le Corbusier Chaise Longue. A true "relaxing machine"

"Chairs are architecture. Sofas are bourgeois"

- Le Corbusier

We like to talk about chairs. You know that. But more than everything, we like to talk about legendary chairs. Like the Le Corbusier Chaise Longue.

A modern classic, the embodiment of contemporary design, this chair was originally designed in 1928 by the Le Corbusier, expressing form as well as comfort.

The Swiss architect intended to create functional art and meet the needs of the modern man. This chair, or the “relaxing machine” as Le Corbusier liked to call his creation, captured this passion with its easy-to-adjust positioning and soft leather chaise. Relaxation never looked this good.

The chair’s stainless steel frame, polished to mirror shine, will not rust or chip. Its base frame comes in black steel finish and features rubber gripping pads for easy and safe positioning of the chaise in desired position. The chair is available in Black or White leather.
